Most of our new construction projects and rental villas are located in Benissa or in the immediate surrounding. Benissa is located on the beautiful Costa Blanca in southern Spain. The name Costa Blanca originates from the fact that this region has had a very intensive cultivation of almond trees. The name ‘White Coast’ refers to the pinkish/white color of the blossom of the almond trees.
The Costa Blanca region begins south of Torrevieja and extends to Gandia in the north. Costa de Valencia and Costa del Azahar which lie north of the Costa Blanca and to Vinaros are also often included in the same region. Officially, however, the Costa Blanca ends with Gandia. Along the coast there are a lot of well known and popular resorts. The most famous is Benidorm, the tourist capital of Spain. After London and Paris Benidorm has the highest number of hotel beds in Europe. Typically is the construction style: massive high-rises. More modest resorts along the Costa Blanca are Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea and Torrevieja.
