The old fishing town of Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca in Spain and is one of the nicest places along this popular coastline. Moraira is a municipality along with the more inland situated Teulada. Tuelade is a more quiet farmers village compared to the vivid fishing village Moraira. The nice thing about Moraira is that tourism has not ruined the place. Here you will find no high rise hotels or apartment complexes and the marina (Club Nautico) is used for which it is intended: yachts and boats. Here you will not find any banana rides companies or other tourist activities. The center of Moraira is located right at the fishing port, where there is a fish market next to the fishing boats where you can buy fresh fish daily, even as a tourist. Anyone who doesn’t want to prepare any fish themselves, can also enjoy a dinner in one of the many restaurants in the center of Moraira, or along the coastal road towards Calpe.
